At Gilmore Animal Rescue, we believe that love, not square footage, makes a great home. We do not judge based on home size, yard size, or family makeup. Every situation is unique, and our goal is to find the best match for both our dogs and their future families!
To adopt, you must live in the Charlotte, NC area, and all adoptions begin with a foster-to-adopt trial.
This gives everyone (Animals, dogs, kids, cats, and adults) a chance to adjust and make sure it’s the right fit before making things official.
We keep our process simple. Our only two requirements to get started are:
- A local home visit (to see where the dog will be living, must be in the Charlotte, NC area).
- A veterinary reference check
