At Gilmore Dog Rescue, we believe that love, not square footage, makes a great home. We do not judge based on home size, yard size, or family makeup. Every situation is unique, and our goal is to find the best match for both our dogs and their future families!
To adopt, you must live in the Charlotte, NC area, and all adoptions begin with a foster-to-adopt trial.
This gives everyone (dogs, kids, cats, and adults) a chance to adjust and make sure it’s the right fit before making things official.
We keep our process simple. Our only two requirements to get started are:
- A home visit (to see where the dog will be living)
- A veterinary reference check
